Todd Parrish, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at UT Health East Texas Physicians Jacksonville and Henderson. Dr. Parrish is improving the lives of patients, which goes far beyond the surgical suite. “A big part of being an orthopedic surgeon is not just surgery, it’s following the patient. Your care has to match their personality and their situation at home.”
Treating patients of all ages at two convenient locations helps Dr. Parrish understand what quality healthcare can mean to a small community. He also spends most of his fall weekends under the Friday night lights. “I am the team doctor on the sidelines for the football team in Jacksonville, and I travel with them to away games.”
Dr. Parrish offers sophisticated computer navigation to aid in knee-replacement procedures along with a number of other orthopedic services to help rejuvenate the lives of the people he treats. “The goal is to create an end result that can change a patient’s life for the better.”
Dr. Parrish earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches and his doctorate of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
Dr. Parrish is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
