IMPORTANT Information About Visiting Patients in the Hospital
For the safety of our patients, guests and caregivers, visitors are not allowed at this time.
ENTRY TO THE HOSPITAL IS ONLY FOR PATIENTS SEEKING CARE:
The situation surrounding COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) continues to evolve and changes occur rapidly. As a result, UT Health Jacksonville has restricted visitation as of March 17, 2020. Only on-duty staff, physicians and patients seeking care may enter.
This visitation restriction is being done out of an abundance of caution.
The health and safety of our patients, their families, and our caregivers is our top priority.
Visitation exceptions will be made in certain situations, including:
• Delivering mothers (one companion/visitor)
• Pediatric patients (one parent/guardian)
• Ambulatory care and Day surgery (one visitor)
• Hospice patients
Phone and video calls to patients are welcome and encouraged. To call a patient room, please call 903-541-5000. You must be able to provide the patient’s first and last name.
